Lauren Ishak is a director, designer & coordinator based in Toronto.
She is an honours graduate from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor’s of Arts & Sciences with degrees in English and Drama. She is also a graduate of Ryerson University’s School of Image Arts with a certificate in Design for Arts and Entertainment.
Lauren is an avid storyteller with experience working on television, commercials, music videos, short films, and theatre. She has been a member of the Director’s Guild of Canada since fall 2020 and has worked on productions such as Good Sam (CBS), Hardy Boys (Hulu) and Children Ruin Everything (CTV). Her work in short films has been featured in film festivals across Canada and the United States, including; Edmonton International Film Festival, CanadaShorts Film Festival, Denver Film Festival, Rhode Island International Film Festival and Toronto New Wave.
